COMPETITIVE DIVISIONS
We offer competitive divisions that allow for those with minimal and maximum levels of equipment to compete on a fair basis while having a lot of fun! Below you’ll find the list of our daytime event divisions. Please note that we also have specific divisions for Night Brutality which will be shared on the event page itself.
Divisions & Notes
All “Rifle only” divisions retain the same rules as those with handguns and simply remove the use of the handgun. Therefore, they are not described separately just read the appropriate division for your long gun. Note: No deduction of weight requirement will be made in rifle/PCC only divisions, the loss of any handgun related weight is on you to make up for.
Pistol Calibre Carbine users are in the same divisions as rifle calibres. They will be required to conduct stages in exactly the same way except where targets exceed 200m distance whereupon an alternative target no further than 200m will be presented. Rimfire users will have to make hits at a maximum of 150m
Manual action rifles need only make half the number of hits on any given target which requires more than one hit. This continues through the whole stage. Note: where a stage has a fixed number of shots from each firing point this will also remain true to a rounded number e.g. from 5 to 3
Semi auto rifle/PCC only users may be required to make up to twice as many hits on some targets.
IRONS & MANUAL ACTIONS
This division truly puts you to the test as every shot really counts when the clock is ticking. It is the easiest to enter as it requires nothing more than a stock SKS, Lee Enfield, Ruger America, M1 Garand, etc. etc
Competitors in this division are limited to:
Manually operated rifle & a handgun. Only one firearm may have optics
Semi automatic rifle with iron sights & handgun with any chosen irons or optics
No limits on firearm accessories outside of optics limitations
Example 1: A shooter brings their bolt action Ruger American with a 1-6x24 LPVO and a Glock 17 with iron sights
Example 2: A shooter brings an iron sighted SKS with a CZ Shadow 1 pistol with red dot
SEMI UNLIMITED
This division is for those who want no limits on their gear and it’s set up. It’s great for people competing in other shooting disciplines who’s divisions don’t perfectly align with ours who don’t want to change their gear. It’s also great for those looking to achieve peak performance from their gear
A semi auto rifle with any sight and accessory configuration
A pistol with any sight configuration
There are no further restrictions on equipment or it’s use
RIMFIRE UNLIMITED
For the recoil shy and the financially astute! This division really lets you run through the event using nothing but your regular plinker. However it is worth noting that while there are financial savings to running rimfire it comes with a cost as some targets cannot be engaged by the shooter. No matter how hard you try you won´t spin the spinner target with rimfire.
Any rimfire rifle; no restrictions on equipment or it’s use
Any pistol with any sight configuration
There are no further restrictions on equipment or it’s use
Armoured
Armoured division takes things up a notch and really starts to test you and your equipment with decisions on how you prepare both things significantly impacting your performance
There are no restrictions on gear, weapons or equipment as long as all of it is retained throughout the entire match. Gear needs to be carried/worn on stage, these things can be removed when the shooter is not on the stage. All the mandatory gear needs to be carried/worn while on stage.
